Mission
The Rice School / La Escuela Rice, a collaboration between the Houston Independent School District and Rice University, will provide a diverse group of children with challenging academic experiences and the nurturing environment necessary to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers and responsible citizens in a diverse, democratic society. The school will develop and implement innovative programs and practices and will become a leading center for professional development.
