Every volunteer must complete a VIPS Registration Form. Registration Forms are sent home with the students the first week of school and are always available in the main office. Please complete and return yours immediately.

After you return your completed VIPS Registration Form to your child's teacher or to the VIPS mailbox in the Main Office, you will receive a personal red VIPS badge to wear every time you volunteer and/or visit The Rice School/La Escuela Rice. The person in charge of the activity you volunteered for will call you. You will also have a personal page in the volunteer sign-in book in the Main Office to record your volunteer hours. Please record all the hours you dedicate to The Rice School/La Escuela Rice, wherever you volunteer and whenever you volunteer.

Every visitor and volunteer must register in the Main Office. When you record your volunteer hours, you give the school valuable information that is used to prepare grant applications, make volunteer award nominations, and provide a statistical basis for bragging about our great volunteers. You also help us maintain a safe environment for our children by signing in and out and wearing your VIPS name tag that identifies you as a vounteer every time you are in the building or on a field trip.
