Dear students and parents/guardians,
Listed below are the science guidelines.  Please read and sign the signature portion. Students will keep the science guidelines in their science binder all year.

I. BE PREPARED
 A. Have the following supplies in class EVERYDAY:
    1) Black or blue pens
    2) Pencils (sharpened before class begins)
    3) Colored Pencils (sharpened before class begins)
    4) Highlighter and Ruler (metric and customary)
    5) Mead Composition Notebook (100 pages)
    6) Notebook filler paper
... 7) Put a full heading on all papers. NO NAME = NO CREDIT

IV. SPEAK APPROPRIATELY
 A. Raise hand for a turn to speak
 B. During group lab work, speak in a quiet voice
 C. Respect others; use appropriate language

V. WHEN THE BELL RINGS YOU SHOULD BE:
A. Seated in your assigned seat
B. Copying the "Homework" and "Agenda" from the board

VI. HANDLE LAB EQUIPMENT SAFELY AND PROPERLY
Unsafe or inappropriate use of lab materials/computers will result 
in the student not being allowed to handle any lab materials for the remainder of the
lab period and possible office referral.

Counseling with the teacher, parents, cluster, school counselor, and assistant principal will be employed if necessary to help the student stay successful and maintain acceptable behavior.
